CUT TO LENGTH LINES (CTLs)
A Cut-to-Length Line (CTL) takes a master coil or flat rolled steel from an integrated or mini mill and unrolls, flattens and cuts it to precise length and stacks the sheets into a bundle.

Process
Cut-to-Length Lines take lengths of uncoiled sections of flat rolled steel and cut them into various lengths.
Intense pressure is applied to compress and flatten the material into a sheet or plate, depending on its thickness.
The pressure also elongates the piece, removes stress, and creates a more uniform thickness across the whole material.
